Hi everyone!
I'm the owner of The Dive Safari & Palm Garden Resort Hotel Company in Khao Lak Thailand. I don't want to give you a sales pitch, but if I understand the guidelines correctly it is okay to introduce my hotel and dive travel agency to you. Tauchplätze in Thailand & Myanmar(Burma)
Die Similan & Surin Inseln haben mehr Artenvielfalt über und unter Wasser zu bieten, als viele andere Tauchgründe der Welt. Mittlerweile werden sie mit zu den besten Tauchgebieten weltweit gezählt. Hier findet man mächtige Felsformationen, riesige Fächerkorallen, uralte Hölensysteme und dramatische Steilhänge. Die Tauchplätze um die Inseln bestechen auch durch ihren Reichtum an Korallen-Fisch. Das klare, türkisfarbene Wasser ermöglichen sehr gute Sichtweiten. Das Gebiet wurde 1982 zum National Park erklärt. Etwas weiter nord-östlich kommt man zum ’Richelieu Rock’. Diese Korallenriff-Formation ist ein ganz besonderer Tauchplatz und hauptsächlich berühmt geworden durch die vielen Walhai-Sichtungen der letzten Jahre. Die Gebiete um ’Kho Bon’ und ’Kho Tachai’ sind wunderschöne tropische Riffe und werden regelmäßig von Manta-Rochen besucht.

Dschungelsafaris & Tours Thailand Khao Lak
Damit ist dieser Regenwald älter als der Zentralamerikanische Regenwald und das Amazonas-Gebiet. Gegründet wurde der Nationalpark 1980. Er bedeckt ein Gebiet von 739 qkm. Der dazugehörige See hat eine Größe von 165 qkm. Der tropische Regenwald bedeckt den Großteil des Nationalparks - einfach ein Paradies für eine Dschungelsafari oder Dschungeltour. Der Wald ist sehr dicht und voll von aufragender Baumriesen mit oft riesigen Wurzeln. Der mittlere Teil des Waldes ist ein Gewirr aus Lianen und Ästen.
Darunter findet man Pflanzen wie Bambus, Rattan, Farne und Palmen. Ein ganz besonderer Wald wächst an den steilen Kalkseinfelswänden im ganzen Nationalpark. Die hier vorkommenden Baumarten können ohne viel Regen überleben, da sich ihre Wurzeln das Wasser direkt aus dem Fels saugen. Die Höhlen wurden von unterirdischen Flußläufen geformt. Im Khao Sok National Park gibt es eine Vielzahl an Kalksteinhöhlen. Im Schutz der Berge und der tropischen Flora, wo es frisches klares Wasser im Überfluß gibt, liegt der optimale Lebensraum für viele Tier- und Pflanzenarten.
